Join us on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Louisburg College Auditorium for our Annual Meeting. This annual business meeting is an opportunity for members to hear updates about the cooperative, learn about current programs, and ask questions directly to Wake Electric’s leadership team. As a member-owned cooperative, your participation helps shape your co-op’s future. Attend for a chance to win $5,000 in cash prizes, including a $1,000 grand prize, two $500 prizes, four $250 prizes, and twenty $100 prizes. Members will receive a $25 gift card per household, and special school-aged children’s (K-6) activities are planned.
Arrive early to enjoy live music, meet staff and neighbors, and watch a lineworker demonstration (weather permitting) before the business meeting. Members will also have the opportunity to visit informational displays where Wake Electric employees will be available to answer questions and share information about programs such as Time-of-Use rates and paperless billing, which can help members better manage their energy usage and accounts.
Be sure to look for the special cover wrap in your March issue of Carolina Country. Your official registration card will be printed on the cover. Bring this card with you to the meeting to register and enter the prize drawings.
Registration opens at 5:30 p.m. at the Louisburg College Auditorium. Please present your registration card at this time to check in and be entered in the prize drawings.
The lineworker demonstration and outdoor activities will begin around 6:00 p.m. (weather permitting), and the business meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. The cash prize drawing will take place at the conclusion of the meeting, which typically ends around 8:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Louisburg College Auditorium (Seby B. Jones Performing Arts Center), located at 501 Main Street, Louisburg, NC.
