Wake Electric is excited to announce the launch of The Co-op Current, a new video podcast produced by the cooperative for its membership.

Hosted by a rotating cast of Wake Electric employees, The Co-op Current will take a conversational approach to topics ranging from how Wake Electric serves its members to the programs, projects and people making an impact throughout the cooperative’s seven-county service area.

In the first episode, Don Bowman, senior vice president and assistant general manager, speaks with Alexander and Isabella Kelly, who represented the cooperative this summer on the 2026 Youth Tour.

New episodes of The Co-op Current will be available monthly to watch on YouTube. Audio podcast listeners can stream the podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
