Wake Electric held its 2026 Annual Meeting of Members on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the Louisburg College Auditorium. Members were able to enjoy Wake Electric’s linemen doing demonstrations ranging from bucket rides and self-bucket rescue demonstrations. Members came together to hear business updates and a presentation from Jim Mangum, General Manager and CEO and then had the chance to ask senior management questions about the co-op.
Members then voted to re-elect board members Suzy Morgan – District 3, Bob Hill – District 6, Greg Fuller – District 9, again to serve three-year terms. Members in attendance were entered into a drawing for $5,000 in cash prizes. The prizes are first-place grand prize of $1,000, second-place prizes of $500 each, third-place prizes of $250 and 21 fourth-place prizes of $100 each, see list below.
