
Effective September 9, 2019, Wake Electric’s Call Center hours of operation will change to meet the evolving needs of our members. With this change, more resources will be focused to answer calls to 919.863.6300 or 800.474.6300 during peak volume times to improve the quality of the member experience we provide. Representatives will be available each weekday from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm for phone calls. Our office will continue to remain open for walk-in traffic from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
As a reminder, for around-the-clock automated access to account balance or to make a payment, members can continue to call 866.999.4593. To report an outage, call 919.863.6499 or 800.743.3155. Members can also utilize our SmartHub application at wemc.smarthub.coop any time to conveniently manage their utility account.
