Area K-12 public school teachers and community college teachers can apply for grants of up to $3,000 from Wake Electric. The grants, to be used during the 2018-2019 school year, will be awarded in any discipline or subject for specific technology, such as computers, iPads, robotics, Fire Tablets, Osmo kits, software – any kind of innovative technology to benefit students.  To apply or to find out if your school is eligible, go to wemc.com/class-awards.  Applications for both grants will be accepted from April 1 through September 12 at 5 p.m.  Click here for more info.
