Bright Ideas Education Grants Now Open for Applications
Wake Electric is now accepting applications for Bright Ideas education grants of up to $3,000 to support creative, hands-on classroom projects that bring learning to life. Bright Ideas is a statewide program of North Carolina’s electric cooperatives. Founded on the belief system that educators shouldn’t be responsible for funding ideas that enhance their classroom. For the 2025-2026 school year, Wake Electric will be awarding $50,000 to local teachers for innovative classroom ideas.
