The WeCare Foundation approved a total of $9,200 for the following Operation RoundUp grants:
- Assistance League of the Triangle Area awarded $1,200 for Operation School Bell
- Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department awarded $5,000 for the purchase of a compressor unit
- Special Olympics of North Carolina awarded $2,000 for event equipment
- Wilton Elementary School PTO awarded $1,000 for a playground project
Non-profit agencies in Wake Electric’s service territory, which includes Durham, Franklin, Granville, Johnston, Nash, Vance and Wake counties are eligible to apply.
