Apply starting January 1 through March 15 at 5 p.m. for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. Join up to about 30 other rising seniors from all over North Carolina. When you get to D.C., you’ll join 1,600 students from across the nation. With the other N.C. attendees, you’ll visit the Smithsonian, Capitol Hill, Arlington National Cemetery and several memorials. You’ll learn American history and the electric cooperative business model. And, to top it off, this trip and the scholarship award look great on college applications.
