Wake Forest, NC— Wake Electric is currently experiencing 4,375 power outages, which were caused by powerful thunderstorms from earlier this evening. This is down from a peak of 5,300 outages reported at 7 p.m.

Crews are working hard to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
