Wake Forest, NC—
Last night and earlier today, Duke Power and Wake Electric had issues on its power lines due to high winds, which affected 1,177 of Wake Electric’s members in Durham County and western Wake County in the John Ferrell substation. Duke Power fixed the problem on their line around 1:30 P.M. and Wake Electric members should see no additional blinks from the situation.
