Wake Forest, NC— A tree on a Duke Energy line caused a power outage this morning from 1:36 a.m. until approximately 5:45 a.m. Duke Energy provides electricity to Wake Electric’s John Ferrell substation. Areas affected were in Durham and western Wake County.
Approximately 1200 members were without power.
