Wake Forest, NC— A dump truck struck a Duke Energy transmission pole that provides electricity to Wake Electric’s John Ferrell substation.

Approximately 1200 members are currently without power. Crews are working to restore power. Estimated time of restoral is approximately 8:00 p.m.
