As Hurricane Florence nears landfall, Wake Electric employees are ready to begin restoration efforts. We expect Hurricane Florence to cause widespread outages in our service area. For safety reasons, our crews will not be dispatched when wind speeds are at unsafe levels. Once winds are at safe levels, crews will survey damage and begin the restoration process as safely and efficiently as possible. You can track outages and restorations in real time at www.wemc.com.
The easiest and most efficient way to report an outage is through our SmartHub app available for Android and iOS phones and tablets. You can also check our Facebook page for outage and power restoration information: https://www.facebook.com/wakeelectric/. You can also call 919.863.6499 or 800.743.3155.
